Plan a Trip and Packing List

Make a packing checklist for a trip, tick things off as they go in the rig, and reset or copy it for next time.

The Trip Planner keeps a packing list for each trip. Tick items off as they go in the rig, and reuse the list next time.

Open the Trip Planner

  1. Go to the You tab.
  2. Under Your Gear, tap Trip Planner.

You need to be signed in.

Plan a New Trip

  1. Tap Plan a New Trip.
  2. Enter a Trip Name, like "Moab long weekend".
  3. Add dates if you like: Starts and Ends, written like 2026-10-12. Ends is optional.
  4. If you have machines in your Garage, pick the one you're Taking.
  5. Tap Create Trip.

Add Items

  1. On the trip, tap Add an Item.
  2. Enter the Item, like "Tow strap".
  3. Set How Many with the number box or the minus and plus buttons.
  4. Pick a Category, like Recovery, First Aid, Camping or Food & Water.
  5. Add Notes if you like, such as size or where it lives in the rig.
  6. Tap Add.

Items are grouped by category, each showing how many are packed.

Start From a Starter List

Tap Add a Starter List and pick one, like Day Ride, Overnight / Camping, Desert, Mountain / Snow, Recovery Kit, First Aid, Tools & Spares or Starlink / Power. One tap adds the items. You can add more than one list, and nothing is added twice.

Tick Items Off

Tap anywhere on an item's row to check it off. Tap again to uncheck it. The bar at the top shows how much is packed. When everything is checked, it turns green and says so, like All 24 packed.

To change or remove an item, tap Edit on its row, then tap Save or Remove Item.

After the Trip

Under After the Trip:

  • Uncheck All puts every item back to not packed. The list stays.
  • Copy to a New Trip starts a new trip with the same list. This is a Pro feature. See Free and Pro.

When you create or edit a trip, you can pick a ride you've joined under For a Ride. The trip then shows a link to that ride.

Edit or Delete a Trip

  1. Open the trip.
  2. Tap Edit Trip to change the name, dates, machine or ride, then tap Save.
  3. Or tap Delete, then confirm. The trip and all its items are removed.
